Ingredients
- 200 g butter
- 6 egg whites
- 180 g icing sugar
- 80 g flour
- 125 g almond powder
- 4 drops bitter orange extract
Steps

Pre-heat the oven to 190°C.

In a saucepan, heat the butter until it is lightly colored and gives off a nutty smell. Let it cool.

whisk the egg whites until foamy (not stiff).

Add the icing sugar, then the flour, the almond powder, the bitter orange extract, and the cooled melted butter.

Mix until homogeneous.

Pour the batter into the financier molds.

Sprinkle with some sliced almonds.

Bake for about 15 minutes at 190°C.

Let them cool before unmolding and serving.
