Goes very well with cheese, burgers, curry, and pretty much everything else...

Ingredients

  • 1 Kg onions
  • 275 g sugar
  • 125 ml olive oil
  • 50 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 60 ml red wine vinegar

Steps

  1. Mix in a large pot the chopped onions, the sugar, the olive oil, the balsamic vinegar the red wine vinegar.

  2. Cook on low heat for… a long time. A very long time (> 2 hours).

  3. Taste regularly to adjust the seasoning to your liking.
