Ingredients

  • 250 ml water
  • 5 g salt
  • 15 g sugar
  • 80 g butter
  • 150 g flour
  • 4 eggs

Steps

  1. In saucepan, boil the water with the salt, the sugar and the butter.

  2. Add the flour in one go and stir until the dough stops sticking to the side of the pan.

  3. Take it off the heat.

  4. Keep stirring the dough for a minutes and then add the eggs one by one.

  5. Set the dough on cooking tray by making small of balls (approximately the size of an egg).

  6. brush some eggs yolks on each ‘choux’

  7. Put in a pre-heated oven for 25 minutes (thermostat: 180°C).

  8. Once cooked, let the choux cool down in the oven, so they do not collapse.
